G3D.dll error CTD in fs2004

Featured Replies

In the Win7 forum no solution and Aerosoft advice to follow the tweaks of NickN to get rid of OOM and CTD in win7/64 together with FS2004 and Aerosoft AESNot the support I expected from a well respected software developer, Since I have installed Aerosoft's AES, I'm using the latest one version 2.07, I have a lot of CTD's with the G3D.dll error and sometimes also a OOM message as a showstopper. After exploring the Aerosoft forums I saw that it was a hugh problem in the past (2008) with the 3Gb switch and patched fs9.exe file to adress more than 2 Gb under XP but only a few about Vista and Win7 64 but it it's the same error. It's funny because I never had any problem in the old days when using XP and exactly the same software installed but with older versions of AES. Even a test version of Vista 64 was doing the job very fine.I found out that without the patched fs9.exe file, the system crashed immediatly.I have for testing the PC running at stock speeds etc. etc. These afternoon I made a test flight in the Level-D 767 what all the add-ons running, even Vatsim, from EDDL to LOWW, both activated AES airports without any problem, also Skype was in the back ground and no problem at all.Tonight I made a flight from EDDS to EDDH and after 3 minutes a OOM error and after restarting and take off there was the CTD with the G3D.dll error.Anyone a clue for these strange situation,Cheers,MSI P55 + i5-750 + 275GTX + 4Gb 1600 RAM + 750W PSU running with W7/64 latest Nvidia WQHL drivers Latest Realtek drivers 1900x1200 24"
