Hello everyone:I have managed to overclock my CPU E8400 to 3.80, and tempretures remain at 61 degrees celcuis. Now, my question is why is it that there is no significant change in performance? I have an XFX 780i Motherboard, and 3 GB of RAM at 1033mhz....And, an ATI 5850 Graphics card.Any, advise will be appreciated Johnny

I have an E8400 at stock speed (3 Ghz) and I've never had any performance issues...Do you have any performance issues or is it something else? Do you have your frames limited or not? Turn it off, pick a situation in your sim, test at stock speed, test at overclock speed, you ought to see an increase. As to how much, I don't know. But you probably won't see your frames go up a similar percentage as the processor speed.

I have my E8600 at 4.33GHz (from 3.33 stock) and see a significant increase in FS9 FPS, but only in situations where there is complex scenery / lots of AI...Geoff
