REBUILD SCENERY DB

Featured Replies

Obliged to make a temporary FS install in a temporary location to look for problems elsewhere, it wasnt until I tried to run the RC DB that I realized my mistake: FS is installed in the Prgram Files folder I created for the task - but there is no "Flight Simulator 9" folder: thus Program Files is the FS9 root folder.I cant get my networked RC to find FS - because RC is looking for the Flight Simulator 9 folder, right? Ive tried entering Flight Simulator 9 and FS9 with no successIs there a way around this?ThanksNicholas

Your best bet is to rename your permanent FS9 folder as FS9GOOD and do a fresh install to the originally named folder. For example, if your original install is in C:\FS9 then rename the folder to FS9GOOD and then let the FS9 install program install to C:\FS9.That way you won't need to change the path for any of your 3rd party software including RC and when you have finished with the temporary install delete it and rename FS9GOOD back to FS9.
