i changed my email address after signing up. this change happened in mid-2006. the address used during signup (2004) is no longer active as i moved and changed ISPs. i went so far as to change my email address in the user 'control panel'. so ... does this mean i need to use a sign-in 'name' that references an email account that no longer exists?AGAIN, my current information is up-to-date within my profile. my sign-up email address/account information is no longer valid and no longer exists as i changed ISPs.--

As long as the email address in your control panel is up to date you won't have to do anything, sign in names will go away all that will happen is it will use the email address field in place of the username field. Everything will look the same but you won't have to remember a sign in name anymore
