August 9, 201015 yr I have noticed that the coastlines in FS2004 are all square and was wondering why this is and if there is any way I can improve the visual effect. I have VFR photographic scenery and also SRTM-EB90 (channel Islands).Any help would be much appreciated.regardsBrian Brian Lavelle
August 9, 201015 yr Aren't they distracting? You need terrain adjustment software for each geographic area of the world and the best is not, unfortunately, free -- Ultimate Terrain. It's a "must have" for MSFS. There are freeware packages available in the library here for many parts of the world by different amateur developers, but to find, install and then test each for the entire of Europe and North America would be a nightmare. Consistency from coast to coast to coast to coast is also an issue. Smooth Skies! -- Chuck B.
