CH FlightSim Yoke : how to remove the friction of the e

Recommended Posts

Hi ! I own the CH Yoke + Pro Pedals combo since a couple of months. I just love them ! However, there is one thing that's quite annoying regarding it's construction : there is a lot of friction between the plastics of the elevator tube, so when you release it, it doesn't come back to neutral and sticks. This is also annoying for proper trimming since part of the force you want to remove by trimming is taken away by that friction.Does anybody have the same problem ? Did anybody find a good solution to this ? (w/o unscrewing the yoke since it's still under warranty)Thanks for any suggestion !Andr

Andre,What's worked for me is (a) silicone lubricant that is purchased in sporting goods stores or hobby stores...Rick

To apply, push yoke forward, apply to shaft extending, pull yoke toward you and apply same. Then move yoke in all planes (forward, backward, right and left) to ensure coverage...Rick
