Double ai sounds

Featured Replies

Hi,just a simple question maybe.I have bought the TSS audio environment from flight1 which I wanted to use with me woai traffic. Now this doesn't work automatically so I have to do it manual. Now what happens if I alias the woai aircraft sound cfg's there is still the original sound heard in FSX. These sounds are in the original fsx sound folder and are named like ailrgjet.wav etc. Now what happens if I just delete those ai files from the original FSX sound folder and only install the sound files in the aisound folders of my woai aircrafts? Is this the right way to hear the new sounds only??And maybe some knows what the *.dll file does which comes with the package? It is not installed in the modules folder? Can I only use the sound files and then again unistall the package because I don't need the functions of it since it is not automatic anyway.ThanksKim

Please check the manual. The installer automatically replaces the original sounds and offers this too on all common traffic addons. No need to manually delete stuff."Audio Environment Configuration Manager" is your way to go :(

That is what I thought. However it says it does for most addon packages but not for the woai packages. So that is why you have to do is manually. And my question is what to do with the files in the original fsx sound folder which are used now for ai traffic sounds.Kim
