FSX crashes on quick tips

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,I installed Level-D 767 on my new computer and it loads fine, it makes sounds image etc. but when it opens up quick tips. the thing freezes. I dont think its Level-D problem but FSX. Is there is any way of stopping quick tips from opening up without opening themThanks, Tim

Yeah, I remember this one. Very annoying! From memory there's two things you've got to do:1) Sometimes when the 767 loads you are presented with the tips window before the flight finishes loading. When this happens you've got to uncheck the Display Tips checkbox.2) Unfortunately unchecking the tips checkbox has no effect until the flight ends normally which means that you've got to end the flight before it crashes. From memory you've got to hit the Esc key as soon as the flight finishes loading so that it can end normally.I think it's a fault with Level-D rather than with FSX. I've never seen this problem with any other aircraft.Anyhow, good luck with a very annoying problem.

well the problem is that I dont have enought time to check the box and press okay, it does it right after it opens upPS: sorry for late response

You may get more milage asking about this problem on the Level-D forum. I'd say it's a fairly common problem experienced by other users, so they may already have an answer:http://www.leveldsim.com/forums/
