Issue with FFX MD-80 and autopilot in FS2004

Hello all,Does anyone have a problem using the autopilot with the FFX MD-80 in FS2004. If have alt hold on, when ever I turn it off, the plane pitches up violently. Could this be a compatability issue with FS2004? The plane works wonderfully in FS2002. I just copied from FS2002 to FS2004any thoughts?-DSN
