August 23, 201015 yr OK, newbie to this forum, but not a newbie to scenery design. I have a problem, and my searches result in nothing, or at least nothing relavant...I d/l'd KNJK El Centro by John Stinstrom for FS9 (knjk_j2) and wanted to modify the AI traffic. That's when I noticed a problem. It may have been there after the d/l but not sure- never flew there before.The AI won't taxi and takeoff, but dissapear. The in-bound AI will land but dissapear after the start of the taxi. I know, "not enough parking spots", but I've tweaked it, then even went to the basic stock FS9 airiport after uninstalling knjk_j2, then built a few spots in ADE then deleted that and then built them againin AFCAD. Added a bunch, then tried deleting them all, then tried one of every kind/type (MIL_, GA, etc_). I've looked at aircraft radius, parking codes, parking types, airlines..you name it.Added some parking spots to nearby KBWC just for tests too. Using a Searman biplane for AI, but originally it was al MAIW planes.I was using AI Flight Planner, but now have regressed to TTools. Still no joy.I DID notice running AI Flight Planner that the airport KNJK was coming up "with errors"..That got me tweaking even more and regressing even more,etc etc etc.I have to wonder...is this a problem with the airport being below sea-level??Been pulling my hair out for a week on this. Please help!
November 6, 201015 yr Yes this is a limitation of the FS9 AI engine. It will not allow ai to operate correctly to those fields that are below sea level. Military AI traffic and scenery packages for the Flight Simulator community.
