hi,heres a quick pic I made in paint :-). If the controller says left hand traffic approved after takeoff you turn left and fly the pattern on the left side, if he says right hand traffic approved you fly the pattern on the right side.AndrewPS. http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/32279.jpg

yes, as shown in the picture if you are taking off in the direction from bottom of ur screen to the top
