September 4, 201015 yr I've just completed a PANC-PAFA flight with the Caravan on Vatsim, and she flew like a champ. The 260 mile trip was a breeze - cruise speed at 140 at 1700/1700 (ground speed averaged 165 thanks to a light tailwind) - and Anchorage Center vectored me onto a nice approach for ILS Rwy 2L at PAFA. The autopilot worked reliably and captured the localizer and glideslope easily. The final approach seemed a tad high, but I disengaged the autopilot at 500 AFE and had my smoothest landing yet.I do like this aircraft, particularly with the aircraft.cfg and airfile tweaks Fede developed and shared in the Speed & Temp issues thread (thanks, Fede!). I'm looking forward to the cargo expansion later this month, I hope. Wayne KlocknerUnited Virtual
