UT2 hanging - Can I stop the application hanging errors in W7?

Featured Replies

I am having a problem compiling new assignments for the GA section of Ultimate Traffic 2. It is documented on their forums that they can take a really long time to compile. I know, "long time" is very subjective. As a reference, FSX fires up on my system in about 70 seconds. When I try to save the assignments, I get the the following error message:"Ultimate Traffic 2 has stopped working - Windows is checking for a solution to the problem..."Followed by"Ultimate Traffic 2 has stopped working - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."Of course, I would assume the database is corrupted or something but I wanted to see if there is a way I can turn the feature that is producing these error messages in the hope it will allow UT2 to keep running for a while. Perhaps Windows 7 thinks UT2 has stopped working but may it is just moving really slow.
