September 9, 201015 yr Is it possible to save a flight plan in the PMDG FS9 B737NG? I haven't found a way. If it is possible, where do you find them after they have been saved?Denis Ripley
September 10, 201015 yr You can save PMDG FMC entered flight plans only in its own format in a dedicated PMDG folder. On the FMC do Index\NAVDATA\ and follow the tree from there as I recall, but not the individual steps. See if that helps. If the same departure and arrival destinations a number starting with 01 will be attached and then incremented each time you save. The FMC will not save in FS9 format but its own .rte dedicated format. You can recall those plans or others put there by third party planners. The easiest way is to go Index\NAVDATA\FLIGHTPLANS. A list will show that you can scroll through with PREV/NEXT. Click the soft key next to the name you want and it will be placed in the scratchpad. Then go to RTE page 1 and key the CO_ROUTE soft key to load it. You can then scroll through it via the RTE pages and then ACTIVATE/EXE it to make it active. I think I have the flow correct. The name format will always be AAAADDDD or AAAADDDDnn where AAAA is the ICAO departure label, DDDD is the destination label, and 0n is the optional revision number place when saved by the FMC procedure such as KMSPKMDW01.I'm a bit rusty unless I fire it up.
