September 15, 201015 yr Im currently just playing around with the idea of upgrading or overclocking my video card, im trying to get over 700 mhz core speed on my 285, although i know i can, is it really worth it or does it not change anything for FSX? I like this card and clearly it is the 512 bit card i have and am acheiving nice results although a little more fluid and a few more frames will always help. THerefor upgrade or overclock. If you want to save time and just cut to the chase, I can tell you from my own benchmark runs that video card overclocking will make neglible difference to FSX performance. I suggest you leave it as it is. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
