Looking to build a new system and OC the CPU to 4-4.2 ghz (whatever ends up being stable, using a Noctua D14 fan).Anyhow there's only a $30 diff between a 930 and a 950 - should I go with the 950? Any difference for OCing? Figure 950 is better but want to be sure.

Hi David,Go for the i7950, which is, as you say, close to the same cost as the i7930 and is a wee bit easier to overclock, although that depends a lot upon the individual chip. I was really lucky in my i7930. Kind regards,
