FSGlobal 2010 install question

Featured Replies

Hey guys, tried searching for this but no luck so asking - can FSGlobal 2010 be installed in a seperate location from the main FSX folder? Or at least the bulk of the 25GB said to be included with the product? I have nowhere near that much space on my main drive and would not like to uninstall other games to make room. I use a seperate hard drive to install my FSX add-ons (when able). For the smaller stuff that only takes up several hundred megs I can let it slide but not this much data. Thanks!

I'm using the earlier FSGlobal 2008 version but I doubt this has changed. Mine is installed to a separate directory outside the FSX directory, to avoid having to reinstall it if I have to reinstall FSX itself.

AWESOME thanks guys :) Ordering it up now. Sucks to have to wait for a DVD case to arrive - so used to downloading all my other FSX products instantly (I mean, instantly after purchasing, haha)

I have FSG 2010 and yes you can install it on a seperate drive. In fact if I remember right the instructions encourage this. My FSG is on the C: drive while FSX is on D:Its a very good terrain enhancer and you can really tell the difference. I suggest you take some screenshots of mountainous areas and save them. (save them as flights). After you install FSG load those saved flights and compare them with the screenshots you took before....dramatic diff!
