In a fresh, default installation - with nothing else added in the way of additional scenery enhancements - there is no area 39. Area 38 is the last default entry.Try this: In your main Flight Simulator 9 folder, locate the file named scenery.cfg. Make a backup of it now. Then using Notepad, open the scenery.cfg file and scroll down to the very end of the file. The last two entries should be as follows:[Area.037]Title=Propeller ObjectsLocal=Scenery\propsLayer=37Active=TRUERequired=TRUERemote=[Area.038]Title=Addon SceneryLocal=Addon SceneryLayer=38Active=TRUERequired=FALSERemote=If you find anything below the last line above (Remote=), delete it - so the data you see above under [Area.38] is the last data you see.Let us know if that stops the strange error message.
