ModelConverterX and MakeMdl

Featured Replies

Hi I just design my own terminal, its quite big it has 36 gates, and im having a problem converting it to .mdl using the modelconverterx. I use the sketchup to design the terminal and import it to modelconverterx. But when i try to convert it to .mdl the makemdl.exe was stuck up but i never touch it. now its 2 hours now nothing happens it. all i can see the "converting" status under the modelconverterx. Before this i convert a small building and it only took few seconds. any advice? thanks

Hello:You might also wish to inquire about this in the official ModelConverterX (aka "MCX") forum: :( http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=87BTW: In MCX's extent of development thus far, some problematic objects never seem to "finish" conversion / rendering in the 3D view, and there are no error statements generated during "processing" that one can see in the "Event Log".I tend to regard these types of "run-on" or "not responding" occurrences as a 'crash' if MCX is still processing beyond 5 minutes, and escape out by opening another input file; when I do that, rarely MCX itself will hang or crash with Dot_Net errors.Arno would be best qualified to address these matters of course. :( GaryGB
