Jason - There is really no comparison between the two cards, The 9700 Pro is, by far, the faster of the two and the better choice. Especially so if you use any FSAA or AF filtering. The FX5600 Ultra won't even come up to the level of a 9500 Pro much less approach the performance of the 9700 Pro.
