Trimotor/DC3 engine vibration?

Featured Replies

Has anybody else noticed this?Once, recently, I was starting the engines in the Ford Trimotor in the VC, and with all 3 engines running while looking out the right window, I could actually see the wing bumping around up and down slightly--vibration from the motors. :) Can even be seen from external view. Vibration stops when the engines stop, and scales back appropriately with only 1 or 2 of the 3 engines running... :)Saw earlier tonight that the DC3 also has this effect, but haven't tried any of the other props yet.

My two favourites are the Cub and the Tri-motor, but I can't say I've actually noticed. I must look harder. I just love the power of those three Whirlwind engines. I'd love to have a ride on one in real life.
