blurry textures - cfg help

hi all, this is my first post on this forum. anyway, could someone help me edit my cfg file? heres the problem...whilst i get good clear textures close up, looking straight down that is (which you hardly ever do), at distance, even short distance such as 1 mile which is what you see looking out the front, there is a huge distinction where the new clear textures come in. worse, autogen scenery and skyscrapers in cities and the like just pop in when i get very close. is there a way to make them be drawn much further out? ive tried tips from this forum, but i dont fully understand the different texture options in the cfg file. heres what i have at the minute -UPPER_FRAMERATE_LIMIT=22TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=200[TERRAIN]TERRAIN_ERROR_FACTOR=90.000000TERRAIN_MIN_DEM_AREA=10.000000TERRAIN_MAX_DEM_AREA=100.000000TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=19TERRAIN_TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=8TERRAIN_AUTOGEN_DENSITY=3TERRAIN_USE_GRADIENT_MAP=1TERRAIN_EXTENDED_TEXTURES=1TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS=9.900000TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS=4.900000TERRAIN_EXTENDED_LEVELS=1242456btw im running a p4 3ghz with radeon 9800 128mb pro 1gig ram.thanx everyone
