Meljet 777 - Cockpit View Problems

Featured Replies

Recently downloaded 2 Meljet 777 - excellent models but I found one very odd problems in cockpit views:1. In 2d panel view, if you look left, you see a blank cockpit wall, looking right is ok.2. In V Cockpit view the right half of the screen is as expected [forward view with no virtual panel] but the left half of the screen is again a blank cockpit wall. Panning left then takes you round the cockpit walls with no outside view.Overall it appears that the cockpit textures are somehow out of phase with the correct views. Also it appears to be an Aircraft.cfg problem - but I have no idea how. I can find no fixes or comments on the Meljet site so very grateful if anyone else has seen this and has a fix. Many thanks

Hehe, I followed these instructions when having the problem and it pretty much solved it!Go here: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...topic_id=143126Big thanks to Midnight Music for the tip and view numbers :)

With the version 2 MJ 777's he decided to make (almost) a full virtual cabin, but did not include the virtual cockpit. The wall is in fact the cockpit door as far as i'm aware. This is normal. If you want to change your view, change the eyepoint settings within the aircraft.cfg. Co-ordinates are obvisously x,y,z so ticker around with them until you find what you like.I hope this clears a few things up :-)
