I'm just trying to mess around with the traffic SDK to make some custom files for fun, and I can't figure out where I'm going wrong. I have created airport and aircraft files, and made a batch file with the command line from the SDK pointing towards the files, but when trying to run it, it appears a box opens but immediately closes so I am unable to see if it says anything. Could someone help me out please and point me in the right direction

I've just received as a gift some logitech G35 headphones which offers surround sound. I'm thinking of installing the surround sound files from the OC to enjoy with these headphones, but I will also sometimes just use my standard speakers (when the other half isn't home ). Will this cause any weird sounds?

Depends on how you set your 777 up in the options. I forget what page it is on in the PMDG options but you can switch from no aux tank, 1 or 3, then just select the profile in PFPX

Since I don't pay for fuel or maintenance I tend to either go with full power or de-rate T.O.1

I've never given much thought about that, but now you mention it, it is a issue that needs addressing

Hi, I've just setup a new PC and installed the latest version after downloading the other day, and I've copied my licence file to my simsiver folder, but it only shows the 777 in view mode only. Have I missed something? Thanks

Hi, Just building my new system, just need some advice on what to install. While I have FSX and the SP's ready to go, I'm guessing getting Steam Edition would simplify the installation process as it also includes the cfg updates right? With regards scenery I'm thinking of Orbx but I like the look of the night environment lights, are they compatible together? At some point down the line I'm thinking of migrating to P3D. I hear Orbx stuff can be a pain to remove is it a smile process to install into P3D if already installed? I want to keep the drive clear of clutter lol Thanks for any tips

Hi, Just started piecing my new system together (still waiting on CPU) and all seemed fine until I was turning the case around and accidentally flipped the power switch on the PSU. It appears that it popped a breaker in the fuse box as the TV and other socketed items went off. I disconnected the cable and reset the fuse box. Had a friend who has built a couple of PC's in the past come round today to take a look. He said everything seems OK and was as stumped as me as to the cause. Is anyone able to shed any light as to what may have happened? Thanks

Hi folks, I've got 2 old 160gb IDE HDD that I'm thinking of installing into my new rig in addition to an SSD OS/FSX drive. I'm curious as to how I would go about this. I obviously need an IDE to SATA adaptor, could I run both off this adaptor if I use the original ribbon cable? I guess I would also need a SATA/molex adaptor to power the drives. Thanks for any advice

Will you be using the stock CPU cooler? I've gone with a NH-D15 and I think I maybe a bit overkill but it looks awesome lol. I've gone for an SSD for OS and FSX and also a WD blue 1TB HDD for everything else. Also my first build . Happy holidays

I think I know the answer to my own question, but looking for some advice on a PSU. I'm putting together my first rig, going to be going the skylake route and plan to add a GTX 970 of some description down the line. I have got a 650W PSU, will this be enough or would a 750W be a better fit?
