getting weather

Featured Replies

Anyone know of a way to get real weather into the game without the use of fsmeteo or similiar, OR by manually inputting all the station data.As my copy of fsmeteo isn't work i am unable to do any real flying without the weather. If there is a way to get some weather in there i'd love to know.Oh and the machine is not connected to the internet either

real weahter without internet.....mmmm how about taking some flight lessons...:) I know getweather lets you store weather for later use, but..hey you'll need the internet as a source of information. Install a weatheraddon on a seperate internet equipped machine and manually load the downloaded (weather)information into FS. Or ask a friend to download it and send it by email or even better use the weathertheme's+dynamic weather if you have FS2004 and the best solution is to use Weathermaker from Reed Stough. It's a weathergenerator and as real as one can get within the limits of FS.Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif"A Bad Day At The Field Is Still Better Then A Good Day At Work"

If you have access to any pc with internet access, you can install the free weatherget (www.bearsoft.de) program on both, download real weather on the internet capable pc, copy the files to a zip disk or similar, and transfer them to your nonline pc, then use weatherget to load the realweather into fs.sg

i found a way around this similiar to your suggestions. I loaded FS9 onto the inernet capable amchine and used that to download the real weather, then i just copy the weather file over to the other machine.
