Yes, but if you think they're going to tell anyone you have another thing coming :)--M

Rather unprofessional of them to put a release date on their news page (Sept 11)and then not make the product available yet!Nearly as bad as going to a website and finding "under construction" on the homepage aaaaaaaaaaaagh!

Thats not the release date. Thats the date the latest news item was posted. John Fitzpatrick

The said early september, wonder what PSS sees as early...Onno

If you've been around the flight sim community for any length of time, you learn to take release dates not very seriously. This applies to previous devopements (remember the Falcon series, they must have set a record for missed dates) to future releases (how many has LockOn missed). I'm waiting for Ultimate Traffic, PSS 320, Dash 8 updates, Simflyers, Fly Tampa Afcad 2 updates, etc, etc, etc. I usual just give a big yawn and move on to something else. Right now, I'm changing my PAI airfiles to version 6. That will keep me busy for a while. No sense driving the blood pressure up over a (GASP, dare I say it) Game. John Fitzpatrick

And Don't Forget The CSI (Creative Simulations International)ScandelSo many people kept Complaining and Whining about when this FREEWARE Addon was going to be Availablethat They Decided to Close shop And I don't Blame themPATIENCE !!!!It will Come

COMING VERY SOON!!11 - Sep - 2003PSS A330 & A340 Professional for FS2002/FS2004---------------------------------------------------------------------Above copied and pasted from the Phoenix Simulation Website.Putting "COMING VERY SOON!!" and no release date is asking for trouble. I wonder if they'll be trying to charge people

Mr Bump, as Mr Fitzpatrick and others have already said a couple of times already, take any release dates with a grain of salt. This is true in most aspects of our modern life. One obvious reason for publishers to state a date (more or less acurate) is to create interest for the product. Different things can happen during the process of developing a product, as most of us know, and many of them can push an expected release date forward. It makes no sense from a business point of view to NOT create some sort of interest prior to release, i.e. very few publishers (if any) keep their projects totally under cover. If we as prospective buyers are making a lot of noice in our "demands" for release of a product and the publishers listen to that, we end up buying stuff that is more riddled with bugs than necessary! And I think we can all agree that that is a bad thing? In other words, chill out, read a book, read the manuals or fly any present favourite aircraft and simply wait for the stuff to hit the shelves.

And what if they do keep that pricing scheme? What's so wrong with that? Its their software, their blood and sweat, they charge how they see fit. You dont like it, don't buy it.
