Patch help

Featured Replies

After installing the patch for the 208, I can't get anything to work in the VC, nothing is click-able anymore. I have un-installed the airplane and re-installed it without the patch and still no luck, it seems like the installer is skipping over adding some gauges or something. I am using EZCA also, but it doesn't do it in any other planes.Help please, I am getting very frustrated

You haven't modded/replaced/renamed anything have you? Also if your FSX install is anywhere other than default, you'll have to steer the patch to the correct location. You should disable EZCA until you find the problem.

okay calm down, breathe, relax. Black%20Eye.gif First have you emailed Carenado? Second, you may have to wait a couple hours before someone from Carenado will see/respond to this post. You may just have to fly something else for short hops till they help you. Sorry I can't be of any help :(. Hope you get it fixed soon, it's a great plane.Oh and Welcome to Avsim!

Yeah, I have e-mailed Carenado also. It's just strange that that is the only plane affected.

When FSX asked you to trust the gauges, did you hit no?

After the latest install, the only gauge FSX asked permission for was the weather gauge. At least that was something new, all previous times nothing asked permission for approval.

I'd say that there should have been more than that. Have you tried letting FSX re-write the cfg file?

Which config file are you talking about, the FSX.cfg or the airplane config? If you mean the FSX config, how do you do that?

Just cut and paste it to the desktop. FSX will rebuild it, but you'll have to adjust all of your settings.ALSO, if you have any Feelthere products, they jack up one file that can screw every other addon you get from then on!
