AC vs CFG

Featured Replies

Hey. This has probably been asked before, and if it hasn't, it's just me - I'm a bit slow. :( When flying on an aircraft with wings inserted in the VC view. What is the best way to set up a view of looking out over the wings when you hit 4 or 6 in the VC. I tried using Active Camera 1.3 in FS2k4, but it just killed the sim. Any ideas besides manually setting them up(I'm not even sure how to do that)?Thanks!:-jumpyhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg------------------Kenneth WeikTWVA395 / [email protected]

I tried using Active Camera 1.3 in FS2k4, but it>just killed the sim. That's no wonder, because AC 1.3 is not designed to work with FS2004. you'd need the AC 2004 version, which is payware nowadays..Otherwise I'm not quite sure what you mean by "wings inserted in VC view". Do mean a plane which has a virtual cabin, where you need to move the eyepoint backwards and outboard to see the wings? I don't think there is any other way than using AC, because by default you can only set one eyepoint in the .cfg file.

Thanks... I do mean the virtual cabin. Is there a way to get the same views on a plane that doesn't have the eyepoints set up like the FFX/SGA MD-80? Say I wanted to get a view of looking out over the wing in the IDFG 757v2... how would I go about doing this?Thanks!:-jumpyhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg------------------Kenneth WeikTWVA395 / [email protected]
