September 20, 200322 yr Iooks great! Is that 4.9 FPS on the counter??? Guess it's good for screenshots!I am finding that the default weather updates are very inaccurate and i am looking for a good program to use as real world weather is the only way to go, does weather maker provide this?Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com Best, Michael KDFW
September 20, 200322 yr Author Commercial Member The 4.9 fps is based upon a the min requirements for FS9. It was done on a PIII 450 mhz computer. A higher end computer would be much faster. In answer to your question. Weather Maker is being developed in sections due to the technology that is available out there. We are not at this time pursuing the FSUIPC root because of some of the hesitation issues that have arisen and some of the performance issues. By no means are we throwing this possibility out in the future, but we see the nearest option is developing weather themes. The first phase of Weather Maker Professional is Weather Scapes - which will be various weather scenarios to fly through, but not based off of current weather. Phase 2 will allow a user to create their own weather themes, and Phase 3 will incorporate real weather scenario's.If you have any additional questions please feel free to email me at: [email protected] for your questions.
