Why still fan sounds? It should be only Bat power so no sounds then.Could you please try this and help me about it?Thanks a lot.Iñigo Bayo

Hi Iñigo, I couldn't find the posts, but pretty sure I remember one,,, Things get weird if your system is low on memory or running a 32bit OS. Heck with a power house computer FSX will still have sound issues. But the earlier mention will see them more often. The same thing happens with AI sounds. You can toggle off and on the sound (with Q) and the sounds normally reset after that. This isn't a PMDG issue but you will most likely see it more in a PMDG, Level-D or FS-Labs aircraft because they are more memory and CPU intensive aircraft. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head, is check your windows event logs and see if you have and PMDG_Sound.dll errors under application. Also check your FSX sound settings and make sure your sound card is selected as the output. FSX will default them occasionally and that can have issues in itself.

Sorry but maybe I didn't explain my doubt very well. The thing is that the sound itself is not the problem. I would like to know if the sequence of fan and pack sounds are simulated as real as I find strange that when APU power is off the sound is not off. I have been testing and after shutting down Apu from Start/Stop instead of Apu Power switch, the sound is off. Maybe this is how it should be?Thanks for your helpIñigo Bayo

Well, like I mentioned, you need to press "Q" and then listen, since it is a bug yes, but not an Aircraft specific one, but an FSX one. The sounds are modeled to work in sequence but please reread everything I said above. I think you misread it haha. I understand you question, but I'm trying to show you what might be happening and why the sounds are happening out of sequence. I never paid much attention to them, but do know I never heard the APU start, I hear the APU air once I engage it, but try pressing Q after you hear the sound, then press Q again (unmute) and see if the sound is there or not. It is meant to show you that it is FSX.
