No crosswind effects

Featured Replies

Hello all,Firstly, I didn't really cared about this, but I do now more and more. In FSX, when I have a crosswind landing (doesn't matter weak or really strong) the plane straigtens itself out automaticly. I have AutoRudder turned off. When I get to it, I'll post a vid when able, but won't be very soon... Help is appreciated!Regards,Renzo

What are your realism settings set to?

There's a setting in FSUIPC that disables wind below 1000ft IIRC, you havent checked that option for some reason?

You’ve definitely got something going on there:)It looks to me like the cross wind doesn’t extend right to the ground. You may have more than one wind layer…creating a windshear.I’d check this…Weather->Customize->Advanced Weather->WindConfirm you don’t have two wind layers set.Danny

The vid was just an illustration of my problem. My winds are stil there following both my FSX shift-Z readout, as well as my a/c's readout. This happens with ASE, and shouldn't be...
