RADEON 9800 PRO

Featured Replies

Hi,I replaced my GeForce 4200 64 MB by an ATI RADEON 9800 PRO with 128 MB. Unfortunately I can't see any improvement neither in performance nor in quality (2D cockpit or spot view). Can anybody tell me the best settings for fs9?PS. I've remove any registry entry relating to "nvidia" or "GeForce".Tom.

what drivers you using? i have awesome performance. all slider maxed and an easy 35 fps with the dc3 or any other stock panel. about 22 fps with pss or pmdg on fs2k4.

Did you remove the FS9.cfg? Drop it on your desktop and then go fly. When you get into the sim all the Display settings will be goofed up. Go ahed and reconfigure the Display settings as you wish. Then fly for a few minutes. Once you leave the sim you can check the "DISPLAY" section of the FS9.cfg to make sure it sees your new card. Then copy and paste any sections or tweaks you might have added to your original FS9.cfg to the new one. You should be good to go then.Hope this helps,
