September 26, 200322 yr Just added my first add-on scenery. Rebooted. FS9 initalises, up comes 'Building database for new scenery files.' The blue bar zaps to the end - and I'm back on desktop. Happens every time. Does anyone have a clue?
September 26, 200322 yr This is one reason why my $30 investment in Roxio's Go Back was a heck of a deal.....Actually, you should be able to go into your scenery.cfg file, scroll down to the bottom, and remove the last entry (your new scenery file), then save and reboot.
September 26, 200322 yr Also when you get you copy of scenery.cfg back to normal, I took the liberty to create a folder called backup scenery and I placed my scenery.cfg into that. Also make several of them and place 1, 2, 3 etc. in the file name. When you need to copy it back just take the number out and it should be back to normal.
September 27, 200322 yr Thanks, guys. Big help. Steve - could you tell me a bit more about Go Back? What would it have done in that and any other tricky FS9 situation? Sounds a mighty useful tool!
