November 14, 201015 yr Not sure why you'd ever need VOR coordinates for flight planning, in fact any coordinates, but you might enjoy a visit here. :(
September 12, 201114 yr Author Hi,Well at times the FMC will give you a choice of three VOR's and choosing the correct one is paramount as you will know. A quick access database would solve that . Thanks for the reply, Berne
October 6, 201114 yr Ok, if you really want to be SURE then you might do that. OTOH, most FMCs will sort the options by distance, so usually the first entry is the one to go for... Plus, since the FMC is also smart enough to give coordinates, and in many cases the multiple entries are dozens of degrees apart, it's usually very easy to just reckon which one CAN'T be right. But then again that all depends on the FMC model you are using.
