October 3, 200322 yr I downloaded SimFlyers new KORD download, and got my registration key. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to recoginize the code, and my installation repeatedly comes up in the demo mode with all the blocks.Followed the same route I did previously with all their other airports (except two which I have not registered as of yet)which had no problem, but cannot get KORD to install cleanly.I have posted this on the FlightSim forum, and contacted them, but with the moderators permission, I felt that there was more exposure here, and that possibly someone had found a solution. Thanks:RTH
October 4, 200322 yr Not sure if this will work for you but I had the same problem with DFW in FS2002. Even after proper uninstalls it kept staying in demo mode. After the last uninstall I downloaded a small utility called RegClean. It's a very easy program to use.http://download.com.com/3000-2094-881470.html?tag=listI had to delete the Simflyers entry out of the registry and then it worked like a charm. You might delete any entries in your start menu if you didn't try that yet. An upgrade to WinXP from Win Me has caused some confusion in my machine about whats installed and whats not but I think I have that worked out to some degree now lol.Skully:-wave
October 4, 200322 yr Author Well, some of we dummies cannot count 1-2-3.The first thing I was doing was entering my key. I went by the numbers as Wolfgang instructed, and everything worked perfectly. (1. Check version, 2.Enter code etc.)On the previous airports this was not an issue thanks to there being no FS2004 option, and the addition of the update later. (with the exception of KJFK where apparantly I just lucked out).RTH
