From LCD to Projection

Featured Replies

I am playing with the idea to switch from using a 24" LCD to a projection system for use in a new spare room- have very nice wall-space-real-estate that can now be utilized. :) Ive not been able to find any reviews of projectors online with specific attention to FS9/FSX. If anyone here is using a projector and/or instead of LCD/CRT, please let me know what you have and your opinions on it. Any input and advice is greatly appreciated!Cheers & Happy Skies everyone!

Now , I have acer P1303 projector for main view in FSX , and 2nd 23" touch monitor. In the past I used 42" lcd tv for main view. Today P1303 project on wall make 100" image.Advantage for projector1. what you see that LIVE SIZE , feel you be there2. easy to control hover helicopter because you can notice a little change position.3. Great in 3D ( with high performance Graphic card )Disadvantage1. low resolution ( mine native1280 x 800 ) when compare to traditional LCD monitor ( 1920 x 1080 ) , can't read display in VC when flying.2. prices.3. Brightness of projector when fly on daytime in room .
