October 9, 200322 yr Is there a file availible that changes the flight dynamics of the FFX 737-800? The current way the flight dynamics are set up, when the plane is at cruise altitude the plane is always in a nose up position and it looks like the plane is still climbing. And because of this I can never see out the front window, I always have to raise the seat to see.
October 9, 200322 yr In fs2002 I once had the same problem. Look for an aircraft editor. If you can change the degrees between the chord of the wings and the fuselage , you are there. Then , with the same angle of attick, the nose will drop in cruise flight.Do not know wether there is an editor for fs2004 yet. But this way is the way to go I think.Or perhaps you could move the center of gravity to the front,(new item in FS2004) perhaps that will help a bit.Norbert
October 9, 200322 yr Dunno about specifically but in general all flight dynamics can be changed:Air File Editorshttp://perso.wanadoo.fr/hsors/FS_Soft/fsairfile.htmlAir File Board, post March 2003http://www.avhistory.org/scripts/MegaBBS/logon.aspIan
October 9, 200322 yr "when the plane is at cruise altitude the plane is always in a nose up position"I do not know how good or bad this airfile is, but the 737NG cruises at high altitude with a pitch ranging from +1.5 to +2.5 degrees, depending on Gross Weight and cruise speed. So the "nose up" attitude by itself does not prove that the air file is wrong. Unless of course you are observing an attitude way off the limits.Stamatis
October 9, 200322 yr In time the entire 737 series will be updated for FS2004. At this time we have several things that require most of our attention. So keep your eyes open for future postings.

Is there a way to fix the seat so I don't have to keep adjusting it everytime I switch views? I have to hit "shift" and "Enter" at least three times to get the seat high enough for me to see out the window.
