No ATC Sound - PLEASE HELP

Featured Replies

I am not hearing any ATC Voice at all. I've checked my settings in FS2004 and everything is set right. Also not getting any engine sound in the KingAir. Have done a complete uninstall and reinstall but sam prob. Running a soundblaster Live with winxp pro with latest drivers. Any Ideas?Brad

Try going to the ATC menu in the sim, it sometimes `loses` the voice selection and leaves an empty entry.Allcott

everything is checked there. Not sure what it is but like I said I don't have any sound in the King Air. Not sure what to do at this point.

ANYONE??

Hi Brad,Try this one. Look up your key assignment for avionics on/off and press it and check the ATC again.I had the same problem some time ago. The cause was that my default flight had the avionics off.Ulf B

No, that wasn't it. Don't know what to try now. Just reinstalled again and same thing. Starange thing is I only have no King Air sounds and no ATC voice. All other sounds working fine. ATC is working but I have to use the window. No Voice.

..

I'm not sure if this applies with FS2K4, but in previous versions, sometimes I would need to reinstall the audio codecs in Windows to get my ATC back to snuff. Just throwing out suggestions...Rick
