FSX Flight Planner not reflecting altitude change

Featured Replies

When I edit an existing flight plan and save it I am finding that any change that I make to the cruise altitude does not show up when I relook at the flight plan. Am I missing something here?

Did you reload the flightplan after you edited it?

Hi Watcher,I find exactly the same thing happening. I set up the flight plan and say, wish to check out the GPS route for distance and fuel required, and save it. I then go back into the plan and set it for High Altitude Airways to check route and fuel reqd. In all cases, my previously set altitude changes to whatever FSX deems is correct (which generally is too low). So each time I look back into the Flight Plan, I need to re-set my initial cruising altitude as well. I think when you save the flight plan, only the airports of origin and destination are recorded. Other details need to be re-written if you wish to go back to that flight plan.Chris David
