October 13, 200322 yr Greetings,This new afterburner is ready for upload!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/42749.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/42750.jpgSince Kirk's F-16 has several variations(I have the Thunderbird running on a 733mhz system),I would like to please have it tested by a few others :)The zip file is only 112KB, and is ready to go via email...Thanks!I will check back later when I get off [email protected]: Earthlink "spam-blocker" will intercept all emails from addresses that are not yet in my address book; just put "Afterburner Beta Test" in the subject line so that I can spot it. No need to respond to "spam-blocker" query, as I check it often anyway :)
October 13, 200322 yr Hi JR,Looks great :-)By the way: InBetween what ??Cheers, Rob.(off on holliday now)
October 13, 200322 yr Thanks Rob!I live in a rural area between two small cities, so Ifind myself "inbetween" most of the time...Don't get sun-burned :)And thanks to those offering to beta test the d/l!Regards,JR
October 13, 200322 yr I would be interested to see if someone would be able to replace the afterburner on the Lago F16 and Tornado with the one you have created. It look more realistic. Great work. Hope the testing goes well....
October 13, 200322 yr Looks very cool!Maybe you could include a control gauge that ignites it automatically, and the updated panel, cfg.
October 13, 200322 yr Greetings,Thanks for kudos! The afterburner will have XML control using the throttle positionand percent N2, also a panel lamp for on/off indication like theone in the FSD T-38 afterburner effects. Also includes a newjet engine start-up smoke puff effect with "HEAT" shimmer lastinga number of minutes(selectable duration)...JR
