November 7, 201015 yr Hello,I have started to make the radiomasts around my airport to represent the VAC approach :( when I foud this phenomen! If I have a standard FSX "red obs light" on my mast and start at the airport and flies out in the world the lights work. If I flies longer than the mast shoves up in the sim and turn around none of the light show up in the airport or the masts around the airport when I comes back?If I turn the lifetime = 0.00,0.00 and the rate = 1.00,1.00 (in the effect file) then the lights work most of the time but they doesn't look nice. (not 3D and a coloured square around the ligth!Do I someting wrong when I compile the objects or is the fault in FSX (with all the SP)? Daniel Groth
November 7, 201015 yr Commercial Member That problem seems to go away if you change the "Type=19" to "Type=25" under the [particle.X] section(s) of the effect. I don't know if it works in FSX, but it seemed to cure that problem in FS9 for me anyway. Here's a thread with more info:http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6597Jim
