October 17, 200322 yr I have the new Ariane 737-800 Qantas with winglets, but I think that there is something wrong. I really like the model, but I'm not sure it flies right. When I'm cruising at say 4000 ft at 250 kts with the AP on, it doesn't settle...it keeeps going from 3970 to 4030 ft. Is this how it's supposed to be? When I'm at FL310 doing 0.76 M, there's nothing wrong. Is there somehow I can replace the flight dynamics of this plane with another/better one? If so...which one?Thanks/Mikkel

October 18, 200322 yr Here's a couple of theories that could cause this instability:1. Those wing edges at the back end of the wings - the spines or wicks (the wires on the back edge) are not so accurate as to cause them to flap about in the airstream too much. Possible solution may be to shorten them by an inch or so.....2. The virtual stewardess who blocks to doorway when on the ground is running up and down the aisle looking for customers.....:-lol :-lol Serious solution - fly the PMDG 737!!!Toni.
October 18, 200322 yr Heh...I was kinda beginning to think that either the passengers or crew was doing something that they shouldn't.Is there anyway to combine the PMDG 737 FDE with the Ariane? Is it only the aircraft.cfg that determines how the plane flies or is the *.air file also in on it?

Do yourself a big big favour, buy PMDG, save yourself hassle,get great professional service, free repaints,a full product and the services of other users.Incidentally, have you asked Tishma why his plane does not fly properly ? Or will you have to purchase an update ? Seems odd Ariane users have to ask Avsim folks for support, isnt that what you paid for ?Ash
