November 20, 201015 yr What airports have the highest elevation, and also the most interesting approaches? I just purchased both NA Blue series and am looking for some fun approaches. So far 21W is 2600 ft and a couple at 1200 feet.
November 21, 201015 yr 413X3There are a couple of kmz Google Earth files on the FTX forums for the PNW scenery. If you open the kmz in Google Earth and click on an airfield it gives you the full spec on that airfield including altitude. :( RegardsI posted some of the airfields (in Wa & Or) that had difficult approaches (from Doherty's difficult and dangerous approaches) recently on the FTX forums!
