Dash 8 Fanda Frolov. Can not get EADI to show

Featured Replies

I have noticed there are a lot of simmers in this Forum that have reported no problems with this nice a/c except for the fact that the panel can hardly be read.I managed to get the EFIS NAV and engine instrument to become active (using the battery switch) but no such luck with the EADI. The AP does not work either.I first installed the FS2002 version in the FS2004 with the exe installer. Then I applied the update as per the instructions.I seems that there is a missing gauge (the EADI)I have downloaded the files several times , unistalled, reinstall etc. and so far no such luck.Could somebody give me a hint or an advice on how to proceed to solve this proble.Gracias por adelantado.Edmundo CardenasCaracas, Venezuela
Proud pilot of [link:www.flymeridian.com]Meridian Airline][/b

There's both an AC and a DC electronics panel on the overhead. You have to turn on the external AC and DC untill you get the engines started, then there's 4 generators you can turn on, then turn off the external supply. If you look in the a/c folder, there's a sample flight you can take, print it out and go step by step. It's fun.

I believe you can also start just using the batteries, without external power.scott s..
