October 19, 200322 yr I installed the new dash 8 files (1.004b) on my FS2002 and the initial appearance is that it works, but the FMS seems to be dead. The readme is silent on whether or not this update is 2k2 compatible. Anyone know?scott s..
October 20, 200322 yr dh8-1.004b is to make the original Dash 8 package FS2004 compatible. If you're using FS2002, you don't need this update; instead, you should be just using the original edition which is dh8-1004. BTW, it is a healthy download!
October 20, 200322 yr Author That's what I would have thought, but the readme indicates some bug fixes and a new feature, the FMS. So it appears to me anyway as more than just compatibility.scott s..
October 20, 200322 yr For *FS2002* first you need the original main file. Then you need the 1004b update to fix a few bugs. The FMS does NOT work in the 2002 version. It has been updated to work in the COF version.Check out the web site by clicking on my signature bar below. There you will find the files you need. Also a link to the official forum for 'fanda'.Hope this helps.

Assume most folks able to install addons will figure that out though.scott s..
October 21, 200322 yr Author Thanks. I missed that -- trying to click on the one on the center console! Completed my first dash 8 flight with FMS. Worked nice. I was playing around and somehow got a page which allowed me to select the runway, but I'll be darned if I can figure out what I did to get it. So as far as I can tell, everything on the new dash 8 Ver 2 is working in fs2k2.scott s..
