747-400 pax flight freeze help

Good morning Ok I was right in the middle of a flight from EGLL to KJFK as BAW117 in the 747-400 Pax when about 480 miles from waypoint Taffythe whole thing freezes up on me and I have no idea whythe screen did not crash it just froze without warningI tried to do everything but it was no good I had to shut it offnow besides the fact I am ticked off, I would like to know the followingHas this happened to anyone?It is a sign of a major problem brewing?Is it just random bad luck?could it be anything else I am not thinking off at the moment my specs as as followsGateway FX530S Windows 7 OS 64bitIntel Core 2 Quad Processor q6600 2.4GHz, 1066mhz FSB 8MB cache 2048MB 667Mhz Duel Channel DDR2 SDRAM 5.0 GB RamNvidia GTX460950 Watt Power Supply19 inch Monitor thanks for all in advanceIan Snow

Ian, I've been having the same problem and yes, it's very very annoying!. I posted a topic in the PMDG General area of thsi forum. I've gotten alot of answers, but frankly I don't know what they're talking about most of the time.I'm not nearly as computer literate as these other people. Look under the topic "FSX Not Responding" and maybe you'll have some idea of what they're talking about.Pete Locascio
