I'm thinking of REX EXCLUDING the weather engine. Both REX and GE Pro, as I understand, enhance ground features. Does one have advantages over the other? Can they co-exist and complement each other?TIA

Have a read of what the two programs do, once more as if you read carefully, they will explain better than I can here. However...REX only changes the airport ground textures but also provides water, sky and cloud textures amongst some others.GEpro gives you new environmental ground textures throughout the entire world. ie, fields, forests, mountains.Yes they both work together as they do entirely different things.,
