Installing after MCE

Featured Replies

The features of VoxATC 6 sound interesting, but before I install the demo, I'd like to know if there are any users of Multi Crew Experience who also use VoxATC? I'm a new user of MCE and I don't want to take a chance that simply installing VATC might affect my current set-up.I've got other questions that are mostly AI traffic-oriented but first things first. :( Thanks for your time, Nevermind - I just saw a thread where Alan Bradbury has both addons. Sorry that I couldn't delete the topic....

Well to close this thread off on a positive note, they both seem to work together. After a few initial VATC-only flights to get the hang of things, I started a new flight, pulled up the VATC menu - but didn't enable it - and then ran MCE.I had gotten used to keying a yoke button for PTT, but when I disabled ATC via the MCE menu I was left with using the END key for MCE's mute command. So I dedicated my yoke button as PTT for VATC and played a hunch by configuring FSUIPC to send a continual END keypress when the button was pressed.I started giving orders to my MCE FO, then keyed the PTT button. Nothing. Feeling close to victory, I enabled VATC, gave my FO a few more things to do, then keyed PTT again. VATC answered right back. Voila.I made two flights with both working in combo. VATC did suffer a fatal error at one point (Oddly when I was taxiing to takeoff on my final flight.) I disabled/reenabled VATC and picked right up again.
