Flight Sim Pushback

Featured Replies

Is there a way i can control the pushback manually when turning. SHIFT+P+1/2 method is rubbish, for turning. Its so unpredictable, sometimes it dosent even turn. A better method would be using the SHIFT+P for pushback, then using your rudder/nosewheel to control the turns manually. Would be much more easier and more accurate on getting on to the taxi way center line from the stand. So is there a way i can do it? xml. CFG?

Hello,Maybe you can try use this gauge ....

FS2004 (ACOF) - FS2004 PanelsFS2004 Pushback Gauge[ Download | View ]Name: as_push.zip Size: 15,961 Date: 09-25-2007 Downloads: 2,990FS2004 Pushback Gauge. This pushback gauge is extracted from the 'Air Scheffel' Boeing 737-800 (AS738.ZIP) for use in other aircraft. By Arjan Scheffel.

FS2004 Gauges--Pushback/Taxispeed Control[ Download | View ]Name: rcbgh-40.zip Size: 438,974 Date: 07-04-2005 Downloads: 8,384FS2004 Gauges--Pushback, Taxispeed Control, etc. This archive contains v4.0 of the "ground handling" gauges, like automated pushback with conversation sounds, a taxi speed controller using throttle and brake settings, an arming switch that activates taxispeed after a landing (including setting flaps, spoilers, autobrakes off), brakes sound, etc., and can be added to any FS2004 aircraft panel. New in v4.0: 1. Better sound mechanism (using Doug Dawsons XMLsound gauge), with advantages: individually adjustable sound volumes; no more "mis-use" of the ADF1 frequency, so no more sound on/off function needed. 2. Reworked bitmaps and code. 3. State-dependant tooltips. 4. Straight pushback before turn is now in meters instead of seconds. By Rob Barendregt. (Previous version had 5749 downloads.)

FS2004 ATN Gauge[ Download | View ]Name: atngau12.zip Size: 758,856 Date: 10-04-2004 Downloads: 1,943FS2004 ATN Gauge version 1.2. This file contains a set of utility gauges. The primary gauge adds a flexible tow, pushback and taxi feature not currently available within FS2004. While there is a built-in functionality for pushback, this gauge gives you complete control over speed and direction / rate of turn while pushing back or being towed, allowing you as the Pilot in command much greater control and flexibility for handling your aircraft while on the ground. The only thing I have ever found that does EXACTLY what you want consistently in every aircraft I own is this payware:<< http://emarciano.free.fr/En/fs9toolbox.htm >>I have tried all of the gauges Gus listed above but found them a bit cumbersome each in their own way; I think FS9 Toolbox is my "final" solution to the pushback problem.

My solution is AES. I always fly to and from airports that support it, so pushback is always done for me, realistically and without fuss. Of course, me living in Europe, I have the luxery of having lots of AES surpported airports...
