December 12, 201015 yr My FS9 aquired a problem where the throttle, no matter what i do, stays at 55%.This means i can do nothing but take off, landing or taxiing is impossible.I thought i would just uninstall and re install my FS9 but i wasnt allowed.I have windows vista and every time i told FS9 to uninstalll i was alerted that i couldnt until 'KPHL FS9' was removed.I did this, and then it went back to the regular screeen, doing nothing to FS9. I now cannot manually delete the KPHL and have no idea what to do.Any help on front (throttle or uninstall) would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks and sorry for the long message!
December 13, 201015 yr Could you describe the aircraft used throughout this flight from KPHL, and see if this has anything to do with FSUIPC or any other module included within Flight Simulator?Dave. December 22, 201015 yr Author Hey thanks for the reply! After running some tests, I realized the software has nothing to do with my problem.Though i am annoyed about my innability to uninstall FS9, i no longer have to. The issue was my Saitek joystick. It must have been dropped. With the stick in, the moment i take my finger off the F1 (minimul power) and the throttle shoots to near maximum. Then taking the stick out, the throttle stayed idle.Moral: Joysticks are very fragile ;)
